Hey friends! Hope you have had an amazing last few weeks. If you haven’t, chin up love, things will get better!
Anyone else pumped for the excitement coming for the beauty community this month?? Because I am on the edge of my seat with anticipation, so let’s talk all things makeup, you game?
How many of y’all are prepping for the Sephora Beauty Insider Bonus sale this month – anyone, anyone…Bueller? Well ya girl is R E A D Y! Now, if you’re scratching your head, wondering what on earth this sale is that I speak of… STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING RIGHT NOW and go sign up for Sephora’s Beauty Insider program. I’ve made it really easy for you – just click here. Now that we’ve got that out of the way – let’s talk sale items, shall we?

This sale is the PERFECT time to stock up on the more expensive items you need/use – skincare, anyone? But it’s also a great opportunity to buy that one thing you’ve had your eye on for a while, but didn’t want to make the investment on – for me, it’s the T3 Professional Hair Dryer!
In years past, I have approached the sale with a two-part plan; restock items and new items, so I’ve broken out this post in a similar fashion…
RESTOCK ITEMS:
Bumble and Bumble Prêt-à-Powder // This is the perfect dry shampoo/volumizer combo. It takes care of the oil from a Day-3 style, and gives you so much volume you could have coffee with Jesus… get it – the higher the hair, the closer to God! Plus, it’s a powder, so you can apply in targeted areas. What more could you ask for!
Moroccanoil Hair Treatment // I recently discovered this, thanks to a Sephora hundred-point perk, and instantly fell in love. This product makes the ends of my hair SO SMOOTH. If you’re dealing with extremely dry, split ends, get this product in your hair routine ASAP.
Kat Von D Lock-It Finishing Powder // I talk about this powder ALLLLL the time – obsessed is an understatement. I buy the lightest shade and use it to set my concealer, which really helps brighten my undereye area. This is one of those products I could never live without.
Caudalie Grape Water Mist // This grape water mist was a surprising find. I bought it at the recommendation of the Caudalie rep, without trying it. My girlfriends laughed at me for paying $18 for canned water, but I’m a sucker, so hey! Turns out, this stuff is pretty refreshing – can’t believe I almost MIST out on it… ha! I really like to apply this in the morning before I start my skincare routine, or randomly throughout the day if my face feels dry.
Charlotte Tilbury AIrbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder // This setting powder is the perfect, lightweight, sheer powder to lock in your makeup, but still give you a natural, dewy finish. I apply with a powder brush, then press into my skin with a damp beauty blender and it truly gives me that airbrushed effect. Can’t go wrong with this beauty!
Now that we’ve covered my restock items, here is a list of items I’m excited to try!
NEW ITEMS:
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk // This lipstick is ALL THE RAGE these days. It’s all anyone ever talks about on the Gram. My cousin, Michelle let me try hers out one day and it’s all I’ve dreamed about since.
VERB Ghost Duo Kit // My girlfriend, Tanna, recommended this shampoo / conditioner set to me to help with scalp buildup and breakage. I tried to order it last week and it was sold out – a true sign I should wait until the sale, right?
Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in Sugar Sugar // I’m pretty excited to try this gloss. I haven’t always been a gloss girl, but recently, gloss has been on heavy rotation in my beauty routine! A blogger I follow and LOVE – Tanner Mann, recommended layering this on top of Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in the shade Naked, which is a lippie I own and wear often!
Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 // This is another one of those products that everyone is talking about. I first heard about it on a FB Girl Group I’m in, then I read the reviews and MY GOODNESS do people love this product. Based on what I’ve read, ladies typically apply this as a leave-in conditioner overnight, then rinse. That’s most likely what I will end up doing the DAY I get it!!
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector // I’m going to give this baby another try. I bought it a few years ago and didn’t love the way that it laid on my skin. Full disclosure though – back then, my skincare routine was less than stellar, so my under eye area was realllllyyyy dry, like more dry than the dessert in a drought. SO BAD! I’m anxious to give this another whirl. Currently, I use the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Corrector to brighten my under eye before I apply concealer, so we’ll see if this can top the BB.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Highlighter Wand // I am DYING to get my hands on this product! Every. Single. Time. I have tried to buy this in stores or online, it is sold out. If this is sold out during the sale, I will FAA TO PIECES. I need it. Summertime is coming and I need to look dewy and youthful with minimal products on my face. I refuse to live without this highlighter, y’all!
Smasbox Photo Finish Primer Oil // Full disclosure: I only want to try this because Jaclyn Hill raved about it during her Current Favorites video a few weeks ago. I have NO IDEA if this product will work for me, but if Queen Jaclyn says it’s good, honey you better believe I will buy it!
Tarte Treasure Pot Glitter Gel // I need this product, y’all. I’ve had my eye on it for a while now. I have such a fun makeup look I want to create with this stuff, but every time I go to buy it, I chicken out. I feel like the cashier is 100% going to judge me for being a grown woman buying child’s makeup. But this time will be different. I’m going to be strong, and confident and I’m going to purchase this glitter gel with PRIDE. Then, I’m going to post the look all over this blog with confidence, so I can practice what I preach! And all the people said, AMEN!!
So there ya have it! Everything I want/need from the Sephora sale this month. What are you planning to get? Send me your must-haves and let’s some have fun shopping, ay?
Cheers!
